Property tax \u2013 submit to the office (mandatory)<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p>After purchasing real estate, you must submit a declaration to the city or gmina office.<br>This is a tax: <strong>Podatek od nieruchomo\u015bci<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u2757 Important: if the apartment is sp\u00f3\u0142dzielcza, you do NOT need to go to urz\u0105d<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If you purchased:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/rutkowskihome.pl\/en\/o-nedvizhimosti\/spoldzielcze-wlasnosciowe-pravo-chto-eto-takoe-i-pochemu-ne-stoit-etogo-boyatsya\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"356\">sp\u00f3\u0142dzielcze w\u0142asno\u015bciowe prawo do lokalu<\/a><\/strong><br>(cooperative apartment, not full ownership)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udc49 property tax paid by sp\u00f3\u0142dzielnia<br>\ud83d\udc49 the owner does NOT submit a declaration to urz\u0105d<br>\ud83d\udc49 You don&#039;t need to submit anything<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is a common mistake made by foreigners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this case:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The tax is already included in the czynsz<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>you don&#039;t receive a separate tax bill<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>there is no need to go to urz\u0105d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">When to go to urz\u0105d<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If you purchased:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2714 pe\u0142na w\u0142asno\u015b\u0107 mieszkania (full ownership)<br>\u2714 house<br>\u2714 plot<br>\u2714 commercial premises<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Then the new owner is obliged to file a declaration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Where to go<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>IN:<br>Urz\u0105d Miasta or Urz\u0105d Gminy<br>at the location of the property.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For example:<br>if the apartment is in Pozna\u0144 \u2192 Urz\u0105d Miasta Pozna\u0144.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What to serve<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Form: <strong>IN-1 (for individuals)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Can:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>in uzhend<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>online<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>via ePUAP<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Submission deadline<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>\u23f0 During <strong>14 days after purchase<\/strong> (signing of a notarial deed).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you do not submit:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>a fine may be imposed<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the tax will be assessed retroactively<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. Should I go to sp\u00f3\u0142dzielnia or wsp\u00f3lnota?<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p>Yes.
